Paula, it's always good to have someone who knows the product (whatever it is) too look it over for you and in the case of a used bike to even take a test ride. My two bikes that were traded and sold in the past; well somebody got very good used bikes, but you just never are really sure unless someone who knows bikes can give you a nod of approval....good luck.
